What we arrange for our guests

In addition to our guided walks and ski trips, 3-4 times a year we arrange digital photo courses. There are many that have family get-togethers in the hotel, or weddings, birthdays & other celebrations. We can also arrange activities around your plans and have a variety of menus for your meal times. We have many years experience, so don’t hesitate to contact us and ask for our advice.

In the autumn we have several large game buffet evenings, a celebration at the end of a successful hunting season. Our Christmas buffets are also popular. We have even arranged fondue evenings.

Outside the main holiday periods we can arrange & hold conferences & courses. As well as the serious stuff indoors, we are happy to help with something to help everyone relax, from a couple of hours to a whole day. We have our own stables and can offer driving trips in our carriages, coffee over an open fire, a day at the summer farm. Or what about fun activities on the ski hill – sledge racing, snow shoe races, etc?

GETTING MARRIED?

Many dream of getting married in the mountains, and we can help you with the arrangements round your special day. Venabygd mountain chapel is just 500 metres from the hotel, it’s 9 km to Venabygd church and 21 km to Ringebu Stave Church.

We can hold weddings for up to 100 people, and have plenty of space for such large festivities outside the main tourist season, eg. May, June and mid October to Christmas. Smaller weddings can be accommodated throughout the year.

Our dining rooms offers a very special view over the mountains and we serve food that is perfect for the mountain wedding of your dreams. Ask for our menu, or call us for an informal chat.

We can offer you a horse drawn lift to and from the mountain chapel for the wedding couple and others in the wedding party.
