Troll Ski Marathon 2012

The race takes place on Saturday 14th 2012, and starts close by Venabu Fjellhotell. This is the longest ski race in the world which takes place on one day, and covers the 95km of the Troll løypa from Venabu to Sjusjøen. The winner of 2002, Ola Sandholt, said after the race “I participated first, and decided I would do it again. This is the finest ski race arranged in Norway.”

By prior arrangement, we can collect from Ringebu station, cost NOK 170,- pr person one way.

This year race is the 15th time the race has been held. It follows the TROLL LØYPA, a marked ski trail in the high mountains from Rondane to Lillehammer.  See pictures from the race 2008.
