Three-day active break to recharge your energy with Yoga and Natural Movement in the mountains. 

Would you like to spend an active weekend surrounded by the beautiful nature of the Norwegian mountains? Would you like to start to practise yoga and develop your skills under the guidance of a teacher? Have you ever heard of natural movement? It is a great way to build strength and mobility in order to be able to move your body without restrictions and have fun along the way.

We would like to invite you to join us at our cosy hotel, Venabu Fjellhotell, for an eye-opening weekend! 

We understand the value of having a healthy body and a calm mind. To help you develop those qualities we have created a special weekend program that we would love to share with you! Our unique programme combines natural movement and yoga: a perfect mix of power and relaxation.

Day 1.

Dinner together and introductions: 18:30

Guided relaxation, Yoga Nidra: 20:00  

Day 2.

Morning Hatha yoga by the lake: 7:30 - 8:00 

Breakfast: 8:15 

Natural movement: 10:00 - 11:30

Lunch break: 12:00 - 13:30 

Natural movement: 13:30 - 15:00

Yin yoga: 16:00 - 17:30 

Dinner together: 18:30 

Fire and dance: 20:00 - 21:30

Day 3.

Morning Hatha yoga by the lake: 7:30 - 8:00

About your teachers:

Ania (Yoga)

Ania is a certified yoga teacher from Poland. Ania has studied yoga around the world in Thailand, Bali, Sweden and Poland.

Ania’s first passion was dance, which she practised for 16 years. She then found her passion for psychology in pedagogical studies to finally discovered Yoga. She fell in love with yoga at her first practice! 

Ania has been teaching yoga at Venabu since 2018. Her teaching style is calm and gentle. During practice Ania will help you to discover the meaning yoga that yoga has for you. She looks forward to sharing her knowledge and passion for yoga with you! 

Antonia (Natural Movement)

Antonia is an athlete from Finland. She is one of the top athletes in mountain bike orienteering and has won several medals in the World Championships, European Championships and Finnish Championships. She also races in mountain biking, obstacle racing and has a background in cross country skiing. Previously Antonia also coached orienteering in Australia. 

Antonia is curious and loves to explore new ways of moving her body. Besides competitive biking she does this through yoga, parkour and climbing. Antonia’s teaching is inspiring and she never forgets the fun aspect of the practice! 

We go through the exercises together, step by step. You are encouraged to participate on your own individual level to get the most out of your practice.


Yoga is a mind and body practice with a 5,000-year history in ancient Indian philosophy. Various styles of yoga combine physical postures, breathing techniques, meditation and relaxation.

Hatha Yoga 

is a gentle practice with the basic yoga postures.

Yin Yoga 

is a slow-paced yoga style in which poses are held for longer with the aim of increasing circulation in the joints and improving flexibility. 

Yoga Nidra 

a guided meditation and conscious relaxation practice that aims to induce total physical, mental and emotional relaxation.

Natural Movement 

Have you seen how young children play and move their agile bodies in every imaginable way?

This skill often gets forgotten when we get older. Old injuries, a lot of sitting and weakness in forgotten muscles makes our body's achy and stiff.

In natural movement we move our body in a natural way to strengthen and mobilize our whole body from toes to head! Unlock power, strength, balance and body awareness to find new energy!

You'll learn skills you can include in your exercise regime, use when you play with your kids, and get a body you can feel comfortable and proud in!

Practice these exercises safely under the guidance of a teacher. Antonia understands the importance of conditioning before exercise and getting back to a relaxed state afterwards. This way you'll get the most out of your practice.
