She is one of the top athletes in mountain bike orienteering and has won several medals in the World Championships, European Championships and Finnish Championships. She also races in mountain biking, obstacle racing and has a background in cross country skiing. Previously Antonia also coached orienteering in Australia.

Antonia is curious and loves to explore new ways of moving her body. Besides competitive biking she does this through yoga, parkour and climbing. Antonia’s teaching is inspiring and she never forgets the fun aspect of the practice!

We go through the exercises together, step by step. You are encouraged to participate on your own individual level to get the most out of your practice.

Joy (Mindfulness)

In her free time Joy loves to spend time outdoors: skiing, running or climbing. A mindfulness practitioner for many years, she now teaches mindfulness. Her work is united by her passion for helping people to express their potential and to explore their relationship with nature.

Originally a qualified physiotherapist the pull of the mountains became too strong, so she relocated to the Alps and now lives in Norway. Joy is also a Pilates teacher.

Yoga is a mind and body practice with a 5,000-year history in ancient Indian philosophy. Various styles of yoga combine physical postures, breathing techniques, meditation and relaxation.

Benefits of yoga

● Improves flexibility, strength and posture

● Reduces stress

● Increases energy

● Help you to become more mindful

● Improves concentration

● And much more..

Hatha Yoga

is a gentle practice with the basic yoga postures.

Yin Yoga

is a slow-paced yoga style in which poses are held for longer with the aim of increasing circulation in the joints and improving flexibility.

Yoga Nidra

a guided meditation and conscious relaxation practice that aims to induce total physical, mental and emotional relaxation.

Natural Movement

Have you seen how young children play and move their agile bodies in every imaginable way?

This skill often gets forgotten when we get older. Old injuries, a lot of sitting and weakness in forgotten muscles makes our body's achy and stiff.

In natural movement we move our body in a natural way to strengthen and mobilize our whole body from toes to head! Unlock power, strength, balance and body awareness to find new energy!

You'll learn skills you can include in your exercise regime, use when you play with your kids, and get a body you can feel comfortable and proud in!

Practice these exercises safely under the guidance of a teacher. Antonia understands the importance of conditioning before exercise and getting back to a relaxed state afterwards. This way you'll get the most out of your practice.

"You don't stop playing when you get old. You get old when you stop playing!"

Mindfulness is a word that we hear almost everywhere nowadays. During this holiday you have the opportunity to discover mindfulness for yourself or to explore new practices outdoors in our Wild Mindfulness sessions. The beautiful, open landscape surrounding Venabu supports our practice as we use the senses to reconnect with ourselves and nature.

The benefits of mindfulness have been well documented, mindfulness:

  • helps to develop calmness, clarity and concentration
  • reduces stress, anxiety and rumination
  • helps memory and focus
  • helps us to be less emotionally reactive
  • supports relationship satisfaction
